Medical Billing Costs on the Rise

A recent study examined the many costs involved in the health care finance system, and what it found might surprise you. To begin with, the study found that the average large healthcare or medical facility employs around 125 people just to deal with healthcare and physicians billing related matters.

When you consider that each of those people has to be paid and the fact that you’ve also got workers working for the insurance company, it’s easy to see the immensity of what’s involved in the healthcare and physicians billing industry.

The study also showed that insurance companies typically take a very long time- often a month or more on average- to respond to and pay claims, making for a long wait that causes unhappiness and anxiety all around.

The really bad news, though, is that, unless something changes, it’s not likely that all the costs and other problems involved in medical billing are going to just disappear. Many people are “wising up,” however, and making the process simpler and cheaper by using healthcare apps, such as the one available at DeductorMD.com, that streamline the medical billing process.

If you are a healthcare clinician, are you using todays new healthcare app for Medical Decision Making, DeductorMD?
